Produced in Germany, Lauscha glass is known for its clarity, cleanliness, workability and freedom from scum formation and burning. Lauscha rods are hand pulled in small batches, continuing a glass tradition that began in 1597. The viscosity of this glass offers long working times and less thermal shock.
At COE 104, Lauscha is compatible with the other COE soft glasses. It is available in over 50 different transparent and opaque colors and several different shapes ranging from round to ribbed and triangular in tube, cane and cased cane form. The lampworking & neon tubing and cane are hand-pulled and are available in sizes from 6-35mm diameter for tubing and 2-30mm diameter for cane.
